Champion Radish Origin: USA Item #: RADISH006 The Champion Radish is an excellent, short season radish variety perfectly suited for the short growing seasons of cool, northern climates. It is perfectly suited for early and late season plantings. Champion produces bright red, round radishes with large green tops and is an extremely popular variety of radish for eating fresh, using in salads or used for garnishes. Each radish can reach the diameter of a silver dollar, but are best harvested at small sizes when they are at their best. The interior of the radishes is a crisp white color and features a mild, old fashioned flavor. Champion Radishes grow at a remarkable rate and can gain a good size in hurry when given proper care. Even with the most basic care, they are ready to harvest in under a month from the day they are sown. Matures in 28 days.
