Origin: China Item #: NAPA001 Michihili is a beautiful, barrel shaped cabbage from China, often known as Chinese Lettuce or Chinese Leaf in the UK. Michihili Chinese Cabbage seeds were offered by Burpee Seeds Co. as long ago as 1938. Excellent for Russian Borschke, stir fry or boiled!

White Stem Tatsoi (aka. Pak Choy, Bok Choy, Pak Choi, Bok Choi, Tah Tsai, etc) Origin: Japan Item #: TATSOI001 Known as "Tah Tsai" in China, Tatsoi or Rosette Pak Choi is among the most popular of oriental greens. Tatsoi is an open heart oriental mustard with spoon shaped, thick, dark green leaves which are not only full of flavor, but very tender. Tatsoi is very high in calcium and vitamins and is twice as nutritious and twice as delicious as ordinairy Bok Choy. Tatsoi has a wide variety of culinary uses that range from using the leaves raw in salads, in soups and in Oriental stir-fry. Tatsoi matures from seed in only 45 days and can even be harvested from beneath snow, being able to withstand temperatures as low as 15 degrees Fahrenheit, making it one of the best vegetables to grow in a cool climate.

Oregon Sugar Pod Pea Origin: United States Item #: PEA003 Originally introduced by Oregon State University, having been developed at the Oregon Agricultural Experiment Station at Corvallis, Oregon from a cross of Wando and Geneva 168 which was then crossed to Dwarf Gray Sugar Pod. The Oregon Sugar Pod Pea features extremely hardy 3 foot vines which are high yielders of 4 inch flat pods that hold their color well. Oregon Sugar Pod often produces pods in clusters of two opposed to the usual one. This pea variety is extremely disease resistant. This excellent pea variety is high in Vitamins A, B and C. The sweet, crunchy pods are ideal for use in stir-frys. One of the best choices for the short season of cooler climates. Resistant to wilt, pea enation virus and streak virus. Suitable for cold climates and adapted to the Pacific Northwest. 60-65 days to maturity.

Dwarf Gray Sugar Snow Pea Origin: United States Item #: PEA004 The Dwarf Gray Sugar Pod Pea is a variety of Snow Pea that is said to date back to as early as 1773. This variety is typically grown for its edible pea pods, but can also be used as a shelling pea. Vines grow up to 24 inches in height, but typically do not need support for the best result. Plants are very bushy and produce beautiful purple blossoms that soon give way to sweet and tasty 3 inch long pods. Matures in 70 days.

Tendergreen Mustard Spinach (aka. Komatsuna, Tendergreen Mustard) Origin: Japan Item #: MUSTARD003 Tendergreen Mustard Spinach, also known as Komatsuna, is a Japanese green that has been known in North America since at least the 1930's. Though not actually a true mustard, for its scientic classification is Brassica rapa var perviridis which places it only in the same family of plants. Features thick, smooth, glossy green leaves of an oblong shape. Tendergreen Mustard is widely used both in stir fry and in salads. Its tender leaves, as well as its flowering stems, are used raw or are cooked and have a flavor between mustard greens and cabbage. Tendergreen Spinach Mustard is extremely hardy and is tolerant of drought and cool temperatures. It can stand temperatures to -12 Centigrade and can be sown throughout most of the year. Matures completely in 40
days, but can actually be ready for the table in only 3 weeks!
